Tampa Bay and St Petersburg.

Spent the last two days in Tampa about 4 miles from the center. Close to the shops and many interesting places!. Walking distance to Walmart. Visited an old working WW2 war supply ship USS Victory.
Yesterday went to the beach area and had a couple of swims in the bay of Mexico; 88 degrees in the water! The beaches are nice but the area has been hit by a red algal bloom. what the!! the water is 88!
moved further north to find abetter beach. Called Clearwater and Largo and no bloom. Its like surfers Paradise.

Finished the day with a trip to the Tropicana Field; an amazing indoor baseball stadium that was airconditioned; and the home team were the Tampa Rays; they had an aquarium in the stadium with about 30 rays swimming around. Got home around 11.00pm. A little sunburnt and tired but all well.
