Jacksonville to Tampa and Daytona

Headed off early to take the scenic tour along the coastline from Atlanta beach to St Augustines and then to Daytona. We called in to walk around St Aug and grab morning tea in the historic part of the town, capturing some ol town shots; set up for the tourists. Headed then to Daytona beach to see the aftermath of the school holidays!! very few on the beach as the kids had gone back to school.
Daytona is similar to gold coast. Oh did I say that it was hot!!! and sticky!! Yep same as... with the chance of rain. I think the team may have voted secretly and taken tie to give me a treat and that was allow me the chance to tour Daytona Raceway; and wow what an awesome place getting the full tour inside and outside the track. The place gets used for some 300 plus days of the year; we were lucky to grab a day that we could see everything.
We then headed towards Tampa through the meyheim of Orlando; and are they doing up the road network there!! It was chaos and google had a small meltdown, but we got back on track to arrive at our cottage AirBnb in Tampa around 6.00pm. Our host is a doctor and is a resident at the local hospital; mmmm! he could have fixed my wrist for a 1/5 of the cost.. All is getting well.
