Today is the 4th of August and yesterday we headed to Niagara on the Lake a wonderfully quaint town on Lake Ontario. We visited the Christmas shop which is something special and brought one decoration for the tree, there were flowers everywhere and horse drawn carts to transport people about. We had a picnic lunch by the lake and after having a paddle we found where the Niagara river entered the lake it is all a very impressive body of water. Last night we headed back into the falls to see them all lit up and to see the nightly fireworks it was very impressive and enjoyed by all even Paul (however we think TDC could do better with the lighting)
We left our B&B early (goodbye Angela) so we could get across the border it took around an hour but we didn't hold things it was everyone else. Rob did a great job with the driving (keep right keep right) is our battle cry at the moment ha ha!!! We called into Sampson State Park in the finger lakes area of New York state an amazing camping area on Lake Seneca, then called into Taughannock Falls on Lake Cayuga. The country side is amazing and very picturesque. Finally stopping at our next airbnb in Vestal near Binghamton on our way to Philadelphia.
